About Jacob
I was drawn to photography and image making from childhood.
Since the age of 13, having the feel or awareness of the ‘perfect shot’
has always been an inspiration to me.
My studies in photography began in 2020 and this has allowed me to
embark on the journey to being a professional photographer.
I am an Edinburgh based photographer but am happy to relocate to suit my clients needs.
My goal is to provide impactful images whether they are portraiture,
editorial, fashion, architecture and live music photography.

I find the visual aspect of film inspiring and the process very rewarding. Having to wait to see the results of my work can be very satisfying.
I created these photographs to show portraits of the subjects in their working environment. From a lab developer in his development laboratory, to a shop keeper behind the till of a camera store with film in the background.
